Hiii... Maa Sati Anusuiya mandir or ashram in Chitrakoot is very nice and worth visiting. Here you can reach by any vehicle and parking of every vehicle is available. In front of Mandir a river is there which is very clean and devotees feed monkey and fish some food which is available by locals. Temple is very beautiful and charismatic. Temple is well organized by pandits and locals. Be aware from monkey as they attack your food which you carry. This temple is 15 km away from main Chitrkoot town. Thank you very much....🙂🙂🙂

Nice place and great to see that pandits here are not thugs as in gupt godavari and hanuman dhara. Government should work on cleanliness of the river and this can really be a great tourist spot.

Sati Anasuya ashram is situated in Chitrakoot, in the state of Madhyapradesh, India. It is here, that Sage Atri Muni, one of the saptarishis (the seven sages), his wife Sati Ansuya and their three sons who were the three incarnations of Brahma Vishnu and Shiva, lived and meditated. The Ashram is set amidst a dense forest located along the sacred river Mandakini. It is here, Sati ansuya explained to Sita mata the Grandeur and importance of Satitva. It is a town of religious, cultural, historical and archaeological importance, situated in theBundelkhand region. It borders the Chitrakoot district in Uttar Pradesh, whose headquarters Chitrakoot Dham (Karwi) is located nearby. It is known for a number of temples and sites mentioned in Hindu scriptures.

Beautiful place in the lap of nature. The temple is situated in front of Mandakini river with a steep rock behind the temple. However this temple building is not ancient and one may find it difficult to look for "Anusuya Mata" temple. The Ashram is build in a gallery style where statues of many deities, gods and saints are established.
